Discovery Parks - Emerald Beach
Park features
There are plenty of accommodation choices available, regardless of whether you’ve arrived with acaravan or tent, you’re after the comfort and convenience of a cabin, or you’re looking to spoil yourself in a spa villa. All of the camp sites are huge with plenty of lush green grass and shady trees. There are sites with slabs to make setting up the caravan even easier, and there are both powered and unpowered sites available. There are even a number of ensuite sites for added convenience and pet friendly sites so your canine companion can enjoy the holiday as much as you will.
For cabin or villa accommodation, you are spoilt for choice. All are immaculately presented and modern, with spacious kitchens, comfortable beds and air conditioning. There are four and six berth options, and, for added luxury, there are even several villas with built-in spas so you can experience total relaxation at the end of the day.
But the accommodation is just the start of what there is to uncover! The kids will discover so many things to do onsite that they’ll never want to leave. They can bounce till they drop on the bouncing pillow, play on the basketball and beach volleyball courts or swim for hours in the heated onsite swimming pool. There is also a huge resort-style waterpark where they can slide and splash to their hearts’ content.
If you can convince the kids to leave, you’ve only got a short walk to the gorgeously clear waters of Emerald Beach where you can surf, paddle, snorkel or just laze in the sun. Or if you’re lucky enough to be at Discovery Parks – Emerald Beach during whale season, you might just spot a whale or two cavorting in the calm waters just off the shore.
Then there’s the town of Coffs Harbour itself, an easy 20 minute drive from the park. There you’ll find museums, galleries, markets and even the Big Banana amusement park. Not to mention the cafes and restaurants where you can grab something to eat, as well as dolphin shows and the amazing Solitary Islands Marine Park.
At the end of a busy day, you can return to your camp or cabin at Discovery Parks – Emerald Beach. While the kids get the last of their energy out, you can cook up a meal in the well-appointed camp kitchen or on one of the onsite BBQs. Once everyone is content, you can either join in and watch a movie put on by the Discovery Parks – Emerald Beach team every Friday and Saturday night, or you can simply relax by your camp, enjoying the sounds of the evening and planning all of the fun for the following day.
